Noninvasive Mechanical Ventilation and Conventional Oxygen Therapy

COVID-19 pneumonia often presents with severely impaired oxygenation. In patients presenting with hypoxemic acute respiratory failure (ARF), one of the most important goals is to avoid invasive mechanical ventilation.
